About Me…

I started my journey in makeup artistry in 2007 through an apprenticeship in Philadelphia with a very well known and respected makeup artist. I’ve had the pleasure of working on set for both print and film alike in fun, fast paced environments on the East coast and in Denver alike.

A few years after picking up a brush for the first time, I had the pleasure of working as a freelance artist for Bobbi Brown Cosmetics teaching women of all ages & ethnicities how to choose and apply the right products to fit their own personal style and beauty goals.

With this work, I learned the invaluable importance of trust between myself and whomever is sitting in my chair. In order for me to gain a clients trust, she needs to feel heard and treated with kindness and respect.

While I grew so much as an artist on set, behind the scenes, and in store as a freelance artist, I have enjoyed the slower pace of mountain living since moving to Crested Butte with my husband and two sweet children in 2014. I made the decision to start a bridal beauty business because I saw a need for professional bridal beauty services in this quaint little town.

I have carried my simple and modern artistry aesthetic and years of experience over into my bridal business. I pride myself in the quality of work that I bring on your wedding day for you and your bridal party.

If you are interested in discovering if I may be a fit for your beauty needs on your wedding day, please contact me! I’d love to hear from you.

XO- Natalie

FAQ's

Do you have a minimum? I have a minimum of 6 total wedding party members to book your wedding during peak season (June 1-Nov. 1). I book elopements only depending on the season and my current schedule. I charge a second artist fee for wedding parties larger than 10 people.

How much are your services? If you are interested in booking me for your wedding day, simply scroll down a little to fill out my contact form. If I am available for your wedding date, I will send over a pricing & policy brochure for you to look over. If I am already booked on your wedding date, I will be sure to let you know so you can continue looking!

Do you do hair AND makeup? I only offer makeup services.  Makeup is a completely different skill from hair and it is my strength.  I always recommend that a bride focus on finding a hair artist and a makeup artist.  I am happy to make recommendations for local hairstylists.

Do you charge for travel & on site service? I charge for travel outside of the Gunnison Valley.  If the round trip is more than 30 miles, I charge a $50 flat rate + a per mile fee.   I do not charge extra for on site services.  I prefer to provide my services to my clients in the comfort of their own environment with family and friends.

What brands of makeup do you use and will you use my makeup? I use a variety if professional grade makeup that I have tested and know will stay put for the duration of your wedding day.  I am unfortunately unable to use your makeup due to the many hours of research and testing I have done to ensure the quality and longevity of my product application.  Some brands that you will find in my kit: RCMA, Eve Pearl, NARS, Bobbi Brown (Skincare & Makeup), MAC, Sanitas skincare, Native Nectar Botanicals (skincare), Ardell Lashes, Lashes in A Box, Limelight by Alcone and many more.

What does a makeup application include? My makeup application includes a quick consultation to discuss the desired look, a mini facial (luxury skincare application and a light, relaxing facial massage), concealer, foundation, bronzer, blush, eye, lip application, setting powder and setting spray. Each wedding party member gets a mini lip touch up and skincare samples.

I offer complimentary touchups before I pack up my kit at the end of the day.
